Never give up!
Finally, after many atempts, I made it! A song in Victracker. Years ago, I wanted to make something on the VIC20. I had the hardware at hand, how hard would it be?
It turned out, as a n00b I had so many bumps to tackle. Getting the hardware setup was doable, but reading Victracker from the tv screen (monitor was too small, I have bad eyes) was impossible. Understanding how it works: a whole problem by itself as I am not smart. I have made a few attampts on understanding VicTracker. Helpful people guided me to GoatTracker and other trackers, which made problems only worse.
By that time I decided it may be easier to work from an emulator instead, as it is easier to safe stuff. Then I got confused how to map the keys (or not) and had to learn more on disk images.
Eventually, the whole project went to the background and I had sorta given up. But now Winter Chip XII. So many beautiful formats! Channel F and Vic20, how can someone not like these, I don't understand. But where are the entries?
Anyhow, long story short: here's my attempt. It may be short, it may be more one hour battle worthy than a major battle. But I Did It. And the title is creativily taken somehow. It did capture my feelings very well.
